Conde Valdemar is the flagship brand for the winery. The Crianza is a very versatile wine, suited for those who are new to wine and for the most advanced palates. Fermentation process: After destemming and crushing, the primary fermentation begins in stainless steel tanks at 25º. Maceration takes place for 10 days in order to extract structure, color and fruit aromas. This is followed by malolactic fermentation and 13 months aging in American oak barrels that provides us with the roundness that shapes the wine’s expression. Red cherry color of a medium high intensity, clean and bright. Displays complex aromas of black fruit, soft smoked hints and spicy notes of vanilla and coconut. Well balanced. Good structure in the mouth, with gentle and elegant tannins. Tasty with a long and persistent after taste. It pairs perfectly with stews, roasts and grilled red meat, as well as mature cheeses. Best served at 16/18 C.
